The independent variable is the new drug Attendomax while the dependent variables are the fifty students that receive the capsule containing the Attendomax.

The aim of this research is to find out if the new drug produced by the firm is going to improve note taking behavior of students diagnosed with attention deficit disorder, so this new drug is the independent variable because it is the one to used to see an effect in the study while the one through whom the effect is seen is the dependent variable which are the 50 students that took the capsule.
