    The Supreme Court has the authority to declare any law passed by Congress as unconstitutional.

    The President can veto any law passed by Congress, and Congress can override the veto by a 2/3 minimum vote in favor of the law. Both houses must vote at least 2/3 in favor of the law to override the presidential veto.
