    First option is correct

    Explanation:

In this question, we are asked to select between two options, one which best describes the term temporary disability.

The first option is the correct answer.

The term temporary disability is a state that refers to a probability in which an injured worker who is currently unable to work, will be able to resume gainful employment with no or partial disability.

What this selected definition talks about is that we have a worker who is presently injured and is not fully fit to carry out job functions even if he wishes.

Now, sine the disability is temporary, what can we deduce? What we can deduce is that on the long run, this particular employee of the company with temporary visibility will resume the employment with no or partial disability.
