    Canadian Dollar/US dollar = 1.21

British Pound to US dollar = 0.68

Canadian Dollar to British pound = ?

In order to find Canadian dollar to British pound we will have to multiply Canadian Dollar/US dollar with US Dollar to British pound this way US dollar will cancel each other out as one will be in the numerator and one in the denominator and then Canadian dollar will be in numerator and British pound will be in the denominator and we will get Canadian dollar / British Pound. We know the Canadian Dollar / US dollar rate but we need to find the US dollar to British Pound rate and in order to do that we will divide 1 by the British Pound to US dollar rate. So

US Dollar to British Pound rate = 1/0.68 = 1.47

Canadian Dollar/British Pound = Canadian Dollar/US Dollar * US Dollar / British Pound

    Canadian Dollar to British Pound = 1.21*1.47 = 1.78
