    conflict perspective

    Explanation:

The conflict perspective views society as being in constant conflict and struggle between different social groups. This theory was developed by Karl Marx in an attempt to describe the continuous conflicts that arise when people (and business) all compete against each other for the possession of limited resources.

As individuals we normally try to fit into some social group and therefore we label ourselves and others in order to identify people (including ourselves). We consider ourselves something and other people are labeled as something else.
