Answer: To a very large extent

    Explanation:

Encoding is the process by which a sender of a message conveys his/her thoughts into words. The encoder is the sender in a communication chain. For communication to be effective, the sender encodes a message based on what he/she believes about the receivers knowledge and assumptions, along with what additional information he/she wants the receiver to have.

Decoding is how a receiver understands a message, interprets it and acts on them. A decoder is the receiver in the communication process. The extent to which a receiver understands the intended message is a composition of many factors which includes, the receiver's education, experience, perception and also the level of relationship that subsist between the sender and the receiver

Effective communication is an important element in a business success, it enhances relationship between the business and its clients while also fostering a healthy work environment between staff.

For effective communication to be achieved, the sender has to use a medium that conveys the message in the best way possible. The importance of effective communication to our every day dealings can not be overemphasized, because communication is in the foundation of our very existence.
