In an example, assume a contractor submits four different proposals to four different customers in a month's time for the amount of each contract valued at $120,000, $50,000, $250,000, and $80,000. Now only a single proposal is accepted valued at $250,000. The contractor's win ratio based on the number of proposals submitted is:

    Explanation:

    The win ratio is the percetage of all accepted contracts that the contractor had in the month. The total number of proposals is 16 because each customer received four proporsals and if there are four different costummer, we multiply 4*4=16. To calculate the win ratio we divide the total number of wins, in this case one, over the total number of proporsals

    1/16=0.0625*100 = 6.25 %
