    disruptive innovation

    Explanation:

Sometimes it is really hard to realize how much technology has changed and how much it has changed all of us. Not only are TVs thinner now, but almost everything is smaller and more user friendly.

Originally computers used to be the size of a building, then its size was reduced to only a very large room. Steve Jobs came around and computers magically shrunk, and were able to fit on a desk. Later, they shrunk a little more and laptops were available. The Steve Jobs returned and gave us the iPhone which is basically a really small and thin computer + camera + phone + gameboy + a long list of etceteras.

The PC and the iPhone are perfect examples of disruptive innovations and a disruptive innovator.
