Two factory plants are making TV panels. Yesterday, Plant A produced twice as many panels as Plant B. Two percent of the panels from Plant A and 4% of the panels from Plant B were defective. How many panels did Plant B produce, if the two plants together produced 560 defective panels?

    Giving the following information:

    Two factory plants are making TV panels. Yesterday, Plant A produced twice as many panels as Plant B.

    Total prduction = 560 panels.

    A = 2*b

    Total production = 2b + b

    560=3b

    b = 186.67 = 187

    A = 373.34 = 373
