    The first stage is the Forming Stage; which consist of the forming new relationships together. The Next stage is Storming Stage; it is marked by the attempt to storm through obstacles such as conflicts between team members and other difficulties. The third stage is the Norming Stage; Nominations are made at this stage for a leader that is acceptable by all that can drive the team towards reaching their goals. Fourth is Performing Stage; It is marked by role performance of each team member to accomplish the goal of the team. Fifth stage is the Adjourning Stage; It involves a wrap up of tasks and a look at the success and obstacles encountered during the mission. It may then lead to adjourning responsibilities to be persons who begin the process again.

    Forming, storming, Norming, Performing and adjourning stage

    Explanation:

    There are five sequence of stages in team development. They are;

    1) Forming stage

    The forming stage is the orientation stage where team members try to get information about the team and also get familiar with how the team works.

    2) Storming stage

    The storming stage as the name implies is the obstacle stage where team members disagree on so many matters. Each team member has a unique personalty, so disagreement is bound to occur before they can agree.

    Individual differences must be put into consideration and a concensus be reached to overcome this stage.

    3) Norming stage

    After overcoming the storming stage, there is the need to choose the leader (s). The norming stage is a stage where leaders are chosen and leadership roles are developed. It is characterised by some degree of unity among members.

    4) Performing stage

    This is a mature stage of team development where cooperation and unity exist among team members. Every team member is now dedicated to achieving the team's goals and objectives. Though disagreement may still arise but it is handled in a matured way.

    5) Adjourning stage

    This is the stage where the team's aims and objectives has been achieved. Team members are acknowledged for their efforts in this stage. Result are documented before dissolving the team.
