If you buy a cheaper counterpart option to a quality item, you may be more frugal because in the end, the cheaper option may not last as long. If you purchase a well made item, you are ideally saving yourself from spending more money on a bunch of not so great items. If you can invest your money into one item and it last years over similar items that may only last a few months, you are actually going with the cheaper option though it may not feel that way at first.

    C. When you buy cheap, you may actually spend more in the long run. Sometimes it makes better financial sense and saves you money to buy something that is more expensive, but better quality.
