    Answer: The following is not true of competitive advertising: Promotion becomes more informative and appeals less to emotions during competitive advertising phase.

    The statement above is not entirely true in context with the competitive marketing. i. e. Promotion do become more informative but at the same time they tend to appeals more to emotions in order for the firm to expand its consumer base.
