The term is Proceeding pro se

    Explanation:

proceeding pro se is the term used to describe Representing oneself in court. this is mostly done when are facing a charge on a civil case and not on a criminal case. criminal cases are much more complicated and are usually entertained in higher courts.

when you represent yourself in court you will not have to pay for the services of a lawyer which is huge cost saved for you. when you represent yourself in court you are referred to as "pro se litigant" while representing yourself in court take your time to listen and answer any question as a lawyer would have done on your behalf. because when you represent yourself in court you are both the defendant and your own counsel. do not underestimate anything or anybody in court this way you might get a fair hearing from the Judge.
