In simple words, There will have a lot of differences between the two fabrics in construction, even though they have the same identification. Percale fabrics can be calico and Cretonne. Calico has small and printed design. Cretonne has large scale of oral design. There are other differences of softness of fabric which could be identified easily by experts.
