The united states is one of very few countries that have not officially adopted the metric system as a routine system of measurement. do you think that the u. s. should officially adopt the metric system? why or why not

    I think the U. S. should officially adopt the metric system.

    Explanation:

    The metric system is an alternative system of measurement. Most countries use it as their official system, and even though it is used in the U. S., it is not the main or most popular option. Since it is a worldwide standard, it is a good idea to adopt it since it would also make the U. S. be in the same standard as the vast majority of countries. It is easy to understand and it is not necessary to do a lot of math to find the equivalencies.

    Yes, i believe we should adopt.

    The reason is just because the metric system is much more accurate compared to the system that we use in us (inch/mile/feet). Metric system is now used as a international system of unit. This make the researches that used with metric system could be easily cross examined by other scientists in the world and make the knowledge development process become faster.
