What were the benefits for the fall in the value of the peso against the yen for Japanese companies?

    When the value of Currency X fall against currency Y, it means that you now need to exchange more amount of currency X in order to get the same amount of currency Y.

    In the case above. There are a couple benefits that the Japanese can get.:

    - Goods that they buy from countries that use peso will be cheaper than past transactions.

    - If they sell their goods to countries that use peso, their profit margin will increase.

    - For Japanese workers who work in a country that use peso. They will technically sent more value of money to their families back home even though sent it in a same amount like they used to.
