You have observed that every time you do 30 minutes of cardio exercise before taking an exam you get an A. You therefore conclude that to get an A on an exam, all you have to do is 30 minutes of cardio exercise before you take an exam. You have committed twhat fallacy?

    Answer: the fallacy committed here is

    Post hoc, ergo propter hoc (latin: After this, therefore because of this)

    Explanation: the fallacy states that since event B happened after event A had happened therefore event B was caused event A. So here I thought the reason I got an A in an exam was because of the 30mins cardio exercise I carried out. Which is a fallacy.
