People with a bachelor's degree have half the unemployment rate than those with just a high school diploma because they are more qualified to do jobs then them. Since they have more qualifications they have more opportunities for work. employers see people with bachelors degrees as hard workers and serious ones. only having a high school diploma comes off as lazy because you haven't had the drive to go towards anything greater. all in all, if you have a bachelor's degree people will not only know you are willing to work hard but know that you will have the ability to do the work and more.
