    Solids: for a solid think of and ice cube thats a solid because its whole and not melted.

    Liquids: Think of an ice cube if its really hot that ice cube will melt ant turn into a liquid because its not a whole anymore its just liquid.

    Gases: Steam is a gas imagine taking water and putting it in a pot and boiling it with nothing else in the water its just water itself and you see the steam in the air because of the booing water thats a gas
