    The answer is the b) beta particles which are composed of particles with a similar charge and mass an electron. The first comparison between the beta particles and the electron was done by Henri Becquerel when he was experimenting with fluorescent. He calculated the mass-to-charge ratio for beta particles. Then, he found out that it has the identical mass-to-charge ratio with the Thomson's electron.
