What is the final concentration (m) of a solution prepared by diluting 50.0 ml of a 6.00 m kcl solution to a volume of 1.00 l?

    M1V1=M2V2, M - molarity, V - volume, it should be in the same units

    So we take 1.00L = 1000 mL

    6.00*50.0 mL=M2*1000mL

    M2 = (6.00*50.0 mL) / 1000mL=300/1000=0.300 M
