A gas in a fixed container is at a pressure of 4 atm and at a temperature of 27 o

c. what will its pressure be if it is heated to a temperature of 177 o c? (just write the numerical answer.)

    Why don't you try using a calculator and solve it this way:

    P1/T1 = P2/T2

    The initial pressure is 4 and the initial is 27 but you need to convert to Kelvin if required, so add 273. The P2 or final temperature is missing (x) and the final temp is 177

    4/27 = P2/177

    P2 = (4 x 177) / 27
