    Answer is: there is one oxygen atom in the ring portion of the Haworth structure of one molecule of glucose, five others oxygen atoms are not in the ring portion.

    There are furanose and pyranose Haworth Projections for all aldoses and hexoses, including glucose (C₆H₁₂O₆).

    Haworth projection shows a pyranose as a hexagon and a furanose as a pentagon.
