What volume would 4 moles of gas occupy at stp? do this without a calculator. you may need to use longhand calculations. the question is designed to tolerate reasonable rounding?

    V. o. g = moles * s. t. p

    = 4 * 22.4

    22.4

    4

    = 89.6

    OR

    split it up; what you need to find is 22.4 * 4

    So 22 x 4 = 88

    0.4 * 4 = 1.6

    88 + 1.6 = 89.6
