How many grams of sulfur dioxide are there in 12 liters of sulfur dioxide?

    M (SO₂) = 64.07 g/mol

    vₓ=22.4 l/mol (STP)

    v=12 l

    n (SO₂) = v/vₓ

    m (SO₂) = n (SO₂) M (SO₂) = vM (SO₂) / vₓ

    m (SO₂) = 12*64.07/22.4=34.32 g
