Deuterium is an isotope of hydrogen. Normal hydrogen does not have any neutron and deuterium has one neutron. As isotopes they contain the same amount of protons and electrons.

Chemical reactiivity of the elements is determined by the number of electrons and protons, because the electrons are the "particles" that the atoms exchange or share to form bonds and compounds.

Given that the atoms of deuterium and hydrogen have the same number of protons and electrons of each other they will have the same chemical reactivity.

Answer: No, the neutrons does not change the chemical reactivity of deuterium compared with normal hydrogen due to neutrons do not determine reactivity but electrons and protons.
