So basically, Mg (OH) 2 has the following:

    1 magnesium atom

    2 hydrogen atoms

    2 oxygen atoms

Therefore, 3Mg (OH) 2 will have:

    1 x 3 = 3 magnesium atoms

    2 x 3 = 6 hydrogen atoms

    2 x 3 = 6 hydrogen atoms
