The mass of NaCl produced is calculated as below

    write the reacting equation

    that is 2 Na + Cl2 = 2 NaCl

by use of mole ratio between Na : NaCl which is 2 : 2 t he moles of NaCl is also = 5.50 moles

mass of NaCl = moles x molar mass

    =5.50 moles x58.5 g/mol = 321.75 grams
