Which halogen is the most easily reduced in acidic solution: f2, cl2, br2, or i2?

    I think the correct answer is the first option. the halogen that would most easily be reduced in an acidic solution would be fluorine. Among the halogens, it is the most reactive halogen. Then, chlorine, bromine and iodine as the least reactive. According to the trends in the periodic table, reactivity down a group would decrease.
