    Thickness = 2.6 x 10^0 mm First, determine the volume of iron you would have if the mass was 3.6 grams. 3.6 g / 7.8 g/cc = 0.4615 cc Now divide that volume by the 2 dimensions you have to determine the size of the 3rd dimension needed 0.4615 (cm) ^3 / (1.2 cm * 1.5 cm) = 0.4615 (cm) ^3 / (1.8 cm^2) = 0.256388889 cm = 2.56388889 mm = 2.6x10^0 mm
