A 0.060 m solution of an acid has a ph of 5.12. calculate the ka of the acid.

    From the equation: pH=.5pC *.5pKa

    pKa = 2*pH/pC2 * (5.12) - (-log (.06)) = 9.018

    ka = 10^-9.018=9.59*10^-10
