The pressure on a sample of an ideal gas is increased from 715 mm hg to 3.55 atm at constant temperature. if the initial volume of the gas is 470.0 ml, what is the final volume of the gas?

    470 = (715/3.15*760) = 140.37

    760 mm hg = 1 atm

    Pressure is increasing therefore volume must decrease.

    Pressure changed from 715 mm to 2394 mm hg
