    Gien:

    Wave length, λ = 8.0 m

    Amplitude, A = 1.65 m

    Velocity, v = 4 m/s

    By definition,

    v = fλ

    where f = the frequenct.

    Therefore

    f = v/λ

    = (4 m/s) / (8 m)

    = 0.5 Hz

    Answer: The frequency is 0.5 Hz.
