Molarity is defined as the number of moles of solute dissolved in 1 L of solution.

    The mass of CuSO₄ - 400 g

    molar mass of CuSO₄ - 159.5 g/mol

    Therefore number of CuSO₄ moles - 400 g / 159.5 g/mol = 2.51 mol

the volume of the solution is - 4.00 L

We need to find the number of moles in 1.00 L

    If 4.00 L contains - 2.51 mol

    Number of moles in 1.00 L - 2.51 mol / 4.00 L = 0.628 mol

    Molarity - 0.628 M
