Conversion of water vapour from 145°C

    Mass of water vapour = 1.00 mo1H₂O * 18.02g/1mo1H₂O

    = 18.0g

    The heat capacity of water vapour; S = 2.01 J/g °C

Amount of heat released Q₁ = ms ΔT

    18.0g * 2.01 J/g °C * (100°C - 145°C)

    = - 1628.1J

    = 1628.1
