In a neutralization reaction, where does water come into play

    Neutralization is a chemical reaction in which an acid and a base react with each other to form salt and water. Acid+Base->Salt+Water The H + ions from Acid and OH - ions from Base react together to generate water as an end product. e. g. HCl + NaOH-> NaCl+H2O
