If a mass that weighs 8 kg is held at a height of 10 m, what is its potential energy?

    Using the equation gpe = mgh

    (Gravitation Potential Energy = mass x acceleration due to gravity which is 10 on earth x height)

    Gpe = 8kg x 10 x 10m = 800
