What product would be formed if acetone were added to the grignard reagent instead of benzophenone?

    When Acetone is treated with Grignard Reagent followed by hydrolysis it yield tertiary Alcohols.

    Here. Acetone is treated with Methyl Magnesium Bromide and the tertiary Alcohol formed is 2-Methylpropan-2-ol.
