An object with a mass of 6.6 g raises the level of water in a graduated cylinder from 25.1 mL to 30.3 mL. What is the density of the object?

    Displaced Volume:

    30.3 mL - 25.1 mL = 5.2 mL

    Therefore:

    Density = mass / Volume

    D = 6.6 / 5.2

    D = 1.269 g/mL
