    RED litmus paper is used to check whether the solution is acidic or alkaline.

    When the red litmus paper is dipped in acidic or neutral solution it will remain red on the other side if it is dipped in alkaline solution it will change its color to blue.

    Option A (NaOH aq.) is correct.
