A certain mass of gas in a 2.25L container has a pressure of 164 kPa. what will the new pressure be if the volume of the container is reduced to 1.50 L and the temperature stays constant?

    P1*V1=P2*V2

    you are given the pressure (P1) and your first volume (V1) and your final volume (V2) and you need to solve for P2 or your final pressure.

    164KPa*2.25L=P2*1.50L

    P2=246KPa
