    The time taken for the concentration of N2O to decrease to 32% of its initial concentration is calculated as follows

    In (A1/A0) = - Kt

    A1 = final concentration = 32/100=0.32

    A0 = initial concentration = 100/1000=1

    K = constant = 0.76 per sec

    time is therefore calculated as follows

    In (0.32/1) = - 0.76 t

    -1.1394 = - 0.76t divide both sid3es by - 0.76

    t is therefore = 1.5 s
