What happens to the other organism in a food chain when an organism in the middle of the food chain is lost

    Well, First of all, let's say you have a Rabbit, the middle is a fox and the bear is at the top. First of all the Rabbit would begin to overpopulate, the top predator (The bear) would start to starve if the fox was the main source of food.
