What is the molarity of a solution containing 8.0 grams of solute in 0.50kg of solvent?

    Let us say the molar mass of solute = 24g.

    mole of the solute = 0.8g x (1mol / 24g)

    = 0.0333mol

    molality = mol of solute / kg of solvent

    = 0.333mol / 0.50kg

    = 0.666M or 0.67M
