Hydrazine (n2h4) and dinitrogen tetroxide (n2o4) form a self-igniting mixture that has been used as a rocket propellant. the reaction products are n2 and h2o. (a) write a balanced chemical equation for this reaction. (use the lowest possible coefficients. omit states-of-matter in your answer.)

    Balanced chemical reaction: N₂O₄ (l) + 2N₂H₄ (l) → 3N₂ (g) + 4H₂ O (g).

    There same number of atoms on both side of balanced chemical reaction: six nitrogen atoms, eight hydrogen atoms and four oxygen atoms.

    N₂ is molecule of nitrogen (gas).

    H₂O is molecule of water (gas).

    (l) means liquid state.
