What's the difference between a cation and an anion

    Cation - positively charged

    Anion - negatively charged

    Cation and Anions attract to form bonds of a variety of types

    Both Cations and Anions are both Ions. But, the differences between these ions is the net electrical charge of the ion.

    Basically, the difference is that a Cation and positively charged, while an Anion is negatively charged.
