You didn't insert the density of water so we will going to assume.

We assume that the water has a density of 1.2 g/cm^3 and we have an mystery solid object which is 1.00 g/cm^3. Objects that have a density less than the density of water will float in water. Objects that have a density greater than the density of water will sink in the water. So, in your object it is less than the density of water so it will float in the water.
