The phosphate functional group in the non cyclic adenosine monophosphate molecule contains "acidic hydrogens". Explain what this phrase means.

    If you notice, most inorganic acids are HCl, HBr, HI, HF, HCH₃COO, H₂SO₄ and HNO₃. They are acidic in nature because of the presence of acidic hydrogens. These are the hydrogen atoms in the compound that turn into a cation H⁺ when dissociated in an aqueous reaction.
