How do the results for methane compare to those for butane? does your experimental data verify charles's law?

    Yes, it does. Charlie's law states that when the volume is constant the mass of a gas will be directly related to the temperature. When the temperature and pressure were fixed in both gases the relation between the temperature and the volume increased, so the volume increased when the temperature increased.
