What would be the products of the complete hydrolysis of Val-Ser-His?

    Val-Ser-His is an example of tripeptide (containing three amino acids). As we know proteins are bio-polymers made up of small repeating units called amino acids. Amino acids on condensation reaction produces polypeptides. These polypeptides can be hydrolyzed to its corresponding amino acids when reacted with water in the presence of acid. The tripeptide given in problem upon hydrolysis produces three amino acids i. e. Valine, Serine and Histidine (Figure).
